AI finds ideas.
Advisors make trips work.
Use AI for inspiration, then bring your ideas to a BNT Travel Group advisor. We turn them into a verified, bookable plan.
The short answer is no.
AI tools have changed how people research travel. In seconds, a chatbot can suggest an itinerary, list hotels or compare destinations, and that is a great way to start. But planning and booking a trip is different from getting ideas.
AI answers are built from information that may be outdated or incomplete. A chatbot can't see live cabin inventory, can't hold space on a sailing, can't use contracted rates that suppliers don't publish, and can't call a resort to fix a problem. When a flight is canceled at midnight, you need a person who can act.
That is why travelers still choose advisors for the trips that matter most: cruises, honeymoons, destination weddings, family vacations and international tours. A good advisor uses technology too, but adds judgment, relationships and accountability.
What AI can't do for you.
Why travelers still choose a real travel advisor.
Live, verified prices
AI can show outdated prices. We check live availability and real rates before you pay.
Insider knowledge
We know which rooms, cabins and resorts are worth it, from real client feedback and our own visits.
Real relationships
We work directly with cruise lines, resorts and tour operators on your behalf.
Contracted rates
Some of the best prices are agency contracts that are never published online.
Help on the road
Flight canceled? Storm coming? You call a real person, not a chatbot.
Accountability
An accredited agency with a Brooklyn office stands behind your booking.
AI vs a travel advisor
at a glance.
Prices: AI may show estimated or outdated prices. An advisor checks live rates, promotions and contracted fares.
Availability: AI can't see or hold inventory. An advisor confirms the exact room or cabin and books it.
Fine print: AI may miss resort fees, fare rules or entry requirements. An advisor explains them before you pay.
Problems: AI can't rebook you or call a supplier. An advisor handles changes, delays and cancellations.
Perks: AI can't negotiate. An advisor can add onboard credit, upgrades and amenities where available.

Trips that benefit most from an advisor
Cruises, honeymoons and destination weddings, all-inclusive resorts, multi-generational family trips, small group tours and international flights, where details and timing matter most.
Questions, answered.
Will AI replace travel agents?
AI is changing how people research travel, but it does not replace a travel advisor. Complex trips still need human judgment, supplier relationships and someone accountable when plans change.
What can a travel advisor do that AI cannot?
A travel advisor checks live availability, knows which rooms and cabins are worth it from real client feedback, works directly with cruise lines and resorts, and helps you in real time if a flight is canceled or something goes wrong.
Which trips benefit most from a travel advisor?
Cruises, honeymoons, destination weddings, all-inclusive resorts, multi-generational family trips and international tours, where details and timing matter most.
Is it more expensive to use a travel advisor?
Usually not. For cruises, packages and tours, suppliers pay the agency's commission, and BNT Travel Group doesn't charge extra booking fees on them. Our Price Match Promise covers lower public prices for the identical trip.
Can I use AI and a travel advisor together?
Yes. Use AI for inspiration, then bring your ideas to a BNT Travel Group advisor. We turn them into a verified, bookable plan.
