Destination wedding FAQ

Do you charge for destination wedding planning?

No. BNT Travel Group doesn't charge planning fees for destination wedding travel. Resorts and suppliers pay our commission, and your guests pay the same group rate or less.

How does a wedding room block work?

The resort sets aside rooms for your guests at a group rate until a cutoff date. Guests book through us. With a courtesy block you don't pay for rooms your guests don't book. We always explain the terms before you sign.

Can we get a free destination wedding?

Many all-inclusive resorts include a basic wedding package, a free room night or an upgrade for the couple when a minimum number of guest rooms are booked. We'll show you which resorts offer the best perks for your group size.

How far in advance should we plan a destination wedding?

Start 9 to 12 months before the wedding, and send save-the-dates 8 to 12 months ahead, so your guests can get the best rates and flights.

Is a destination wedding legally binding?

It depends on the country. Some countries require blood tests, documents or residency days, so many couples marry legally at home and have a symbolic ceremony at the resort. We'll explain the rules for your destination.

Can you plan our honeymoon too?

Yes. We plan honeymoons at adults-only all-inclusive resorts, on cruises, and in Hawaii and Europe.
